In yesterday’s blog, I reference the second set of four words that might stunt our progress.

You’ve seen them already at the title to this blog.

“It’s different for me”.

Or, again, variations of it.

None of this is to diminish or dismiss the challenges that people might be facing.

But, over 20 years in this industry, and helping countless people make progress where they’ve struggled before……….

Has shown me that………

Progress comes, not when we stop facing challenges………..

But when we do what we can, inspite of and around them.

I can guarantee that for every reason we might give for not achieving the results that we desire……….

There will have been other people facing the same situation (and, potentially, more) who have done what can be done under the circumstances and still made forward progress.

We’ve had many many members who made forward progress despite;

– Injuries

– Illness

– Being incredibly busy

– Family commitments

– Bereavemts

– Holidays

– Loads of socialising

And anything else we can think of.

Again, I’m not dismissing these things.

But I am challenging the “it’s different for me” belief that can underpin our experience of these situations.

They might slow our progress.

They might make it two steps forward, one step back.

But enough people have averaged forward progress in these situations to help us realise that these thing are not “in the way”.

They’re “on the way”.

And doing what we can under the circumstances (and not beating ourselves up over the difference between that and some theoretically perfect version) is what will enable us to get there over time (doing the clicking of www.myrise.co.uk/apply is what will help you make the best progress you can, more easily than you think, I guarantee).

Much love,
