I was chatting this morning to Justin, one of our ninjas.
He also has three sons.
Brave man ๐
One is a really good swimmer.
Does 4 hours a week.
But he’s been getting a bit tired of the swimming recently.
With other school commitments and so on.
And he wanted to stop.
So they reached an agreement.
Drop the swimming to once a week for now.
With the possibility of adding more back in when things are a little less hectic.
Good tactic.
You see it’s easier to drop down a bit then add more in again……..
Then it is to start again.
Same with your exercise.
We know things get in the way.
And sometimes you genuinely can’t make a workout or three.
But, there’ll be a point when you can workout.
Even if it’s just a homework out (on the Misc tab and page remember ninjas).
Just doing one that week is better than doing none.
But, if you stop completely……….
It can easily become weeks, months or years since you’ve done something.
And you then have to “start again”.
It’s tempting to “right things off”.
To think “If I can’t do three workouts this week, I may as well leave it”.
Ignore that temptation.
Drop down if you need to.
But don’t stop!
