Once upon a time, we were the only group personal training based facility in Macc.

 

There’s now several.

 

We have our differences, sure.

 

But we’re all in the same field.

 

Being the longest standing, busiest and most successful of the bunch, we get a lot of ‘feedback’ about what some of the others say about us.

 

Personal Training Videos

 

I heard the other day that one facility owner was saying that their “videos look better”.

 

That may be true.

 

But a quick look at their Facebook page shows very few videos.

 

All nicely edited, sure.

 

But only a handful.

 

We’ve produced over 1,250 blogs.

 

About a 1,000 videos for our members’ group.

 

Hundreds of other on the Facebook page, YouTube, etc.

 

Are any of the perfect?

 

Nope.

 

But they do the job.

 

Personal Training Perfection

 

Perfect Personal Training?

 

They lead to a better result (from a business success perspective) than a few ‘perfect’ videos do.

 

In the same way hundreds of ‘ok’ meals will get better results than a few ‘perfect’ meals.

 

Whatever perfect means.

 

Us humans are often paralysed by this search for perfection.

 

We’re not sure how to make a blog or video perfect.

 

So we don’t do one.

 

We’re not sure about how to make a meal ‘perfect’.

 

So we eat any old shite.

 

Progression > perfection.

 

Action will always beat theory.

 

George S. Patton said “A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week”.

 

Not sure exactly what to do?

 

You know enough.

 

Do something (such as, if you haven’t already, take that next step with our find-out-more meeting tomorrow night at RISE in Macclesfield).

 

Correct course on route, sure.

 

But just turn up every day and do something.

 

Like daily ‘pretty good’ videos and blogs, that will get you further than very occasional ‘personal training perfection’.
