While I was writing yesterday’s blog, I noticed a catchy new ‘diet’ title.

It nicely encapsulates what we do at RISE.

PABMATWWE.

Nope, it’s not the Twiter handle of the child of the PSG striker and the princess from Star Wars after he takes up a wrestling career.

Pay A Bit More Attention To What We’re Eating.

It’s not particularly striking.

Not overly sexy I know.

But it works.

It’s essentially what every single one of our hundreds of success stories have done.

Sure, there’s a bit more to it than that.

But only a bit.

No random rules.

No confusing ‘systems’.

Not completely cutting our macro nutrients or food groups.

No having to never have any of the stuff we ever enjoy again.

Just understanding what will take us towards our goals.

And what will take us away from them.

And paying a bit more attention to our food choices.

“Do I really need to eat this?”

“Is that enough or too much?”

“Why am I buying this?”

“If I plan a head a little, will the easiest and most convenient option be one that serves me better?”

From our experience, the more restrictive, complicated and hard to follow (all the time) an approach is……………

The more likely you are to stop it at some point.

Success comes from;

1. Knowing what to do (members check the Phases tab / page and talk to the coaches).

2. Having a way to plan what you eat around what will work but also what you like, your preferences, etc (meal planner tab / page – 2,000+ detailed recipes all filterable by any requirement).

3. Being able to check what you’re doing is inline with what will work (tracking and getting that checked in person by a coach or online via that button on the Food page / tab).

Ultimately, what works for you is what works for you.

If the diet / eating approach you (or a friend) follows leads to a dropping of the weight and then maintenance there whilst maintaining or improving other health markers, then that’s great 🙂

If it doesn’t you might like to check out what we do –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting.

Much love,

Jon ‘PadmĂ©’ Hall and Matt ‘MbappĂ©’ Nicholson
