You’ll probably have seen that Roger Moore died last week.

A day or so after, my wife Alex was chatting to Audrey next door.

And, it turns out, Audrey worked on The Saint with him and they became great friends after having children two weeks apart.

Which I was fascinated to hear.

Alex was surprised how excited I was by this.

As I’m not normally interested in famous people.

“But” I explained “he was James Bond when I was a little boy”

“It’s like you finding out she was mates with Curt Cobain and Courtney Love” I said.

There’s something very powerful about your experiences as a child isn’t there?

Often sticks for a lifetime.

But, unfortunately, these things that stick aren’t always helpful.

The habits around and opinions on food that we developed in our youth can be hard to change in adulthood.

They can be changed.

Just because you’ve always eaten a certain way or felt a certain way about food, doesn’t mean it has to be that way forever.

As always, questioning our thoughts is the start.

Asking if what we’re thinking is fundamentally “true”.

If it’s the cast iron fact we’re perceiving it as.

If it’s a way of thinking that serves us well.

Doesn’t just change over night, of course.

But, if I can accept Daniel Craig as James Bond (and I think he’s brilliant now)……….

Then a few thoughts on food can be changed with time and effort 🙂

And, it’s a way of doing it that will work miles better long term than ‘willpower’ (AKA ‘Forcing yourself to do something you don’t want to’).

## And, as always, if you need some direction and help with that, that’s what we do. Find out more meeting tomorrow night now –> ##
