I mentioned yesterday that today I would cover what, from my experience, usually makes the biggest difference in people achieving their goals after previously struggling.

 

And that is the move away from ‘more information’……….

 

To working on what happens between our ears.

It’s tempting to think that we just need to be told what to do.

 

That we just need a meal plan.

 

Or to be given the ‘best’ exercises for our goal.

 

And sure, knowing the most effective approach is part of it.

 

But we knew enough before to be getting better results that we were, I’m sure.

 

Maybe not the finer points for maximum ROI.

 

But to suggest that anyone has ever joined us not knowing at least one way to lose weight and get fitter, stronger and / or healthier…………

 

Is quite an insult to their intelligence.

 

It’s the actually doing it, consistently for long enough, that we struggle with.

 

And much of that is down to what goes on in our heads.

 

Weight Loss Mindset

 

The narratives that we all have flowing through our mind constantly that help us make sense of the world.

 

The stories that bind all the information we received on a daily basis into something a little more coherent and easier to deal with.

 

What we do, ultimately is help people release their own brakes. Find that weight loss mindset

 

Rather than just trying to get them to push the accelerator ever harder, whilst the brakes are still on.
