We’ve mentioned before that our retention is pretty good for the industry.


But that people do leave.


No hiding it.


For a mixture of reasons.


But one thing we haven’t mentioned before is one of the patterns.


The biggest individual drop out month is month two.


Most stay on longer than that and the average stay is waaaayyyyy longer.


But the individual month where most people leave is that second one.


Which, after doing an 8 week challenge, is the first time people could choose to leave.


Sometimes the reasons for leaving at that point are genuinely logistical.


But often not.


After all, the probability of work and other commitments changing in those two months is relatively low.


For many it’s because they’ve found the answer we’ve given them is the last one they wanted.


They come in the the hope of a miracle cure.

A new way to lose weight and get fit that they’ve never seen before that they will manage no problems.


And whilst we do do things differently………..


And we do strive to make it as easy, simple and enjoyable as possible……….


It still requires coming and doing workouts and making some changes to eating. That’s the key to losing weight.


There’s no getting away from that.


If those changes weren’t necessary for their goal, they wouldn’t be joining us in the first place.


It’s when people find that what they need to do is, fundamentally, what they already knew, but hadn’t been doing.


A more fun and enjoyable version, sure.


But not a magical new way that kinda happens by osmosis.


So, if you haven’t tried us out before, we will do everything we can to make it all as easy as possible.


But you will have to make some changes.
