A few weeks ago I caught up with some old friends for the first time in a while.

One of them was telling me about his latest attempts to lose weight, asking for advice and asking about what we do at RISE.

“It’s pretty expensive, your place isn’t it?” he said.

“Well, in the same way a house costs more than a tent, I suppose” I replied.

“Most people have spent years or decades paying for a gym, slimming clubs, etc and actually going backwards – getting fatter, sicker, less happy and shortening their lives”.

“Then for an extra 50p or so a day they get great results – end up looking and feeling better, being happier and living longer.”

“So, I think it’s a pretty great investment personally.”

“Yeah, I suppose” he replied.

“I’m happy with what I’m doing and saving a bit of money.”

To which I replied “You’re happier saving 50p a day and being miserable for the rest of your life and dying ten years younger?”

“Well I wouldn’t put it quite like that, but yeah.”

“That’s the maddest thing I’ve ever heard mate” came my understandable response.

########################

We know what we do costs more than joining a gym does.

There’s a big reason.

We don’t have the luxury of the 80% of members who rarely go subsidising the cost for the 20% who do.

Our guys come regularly and get great results.

Not because they’re special or different to most people.

Most have been in the 80% of gym members wasting their money before.

It’s just everything we do is built around people actually getting results.

And people get dragged along with the collective power of the group.

And they’ve become ‘investment minded’ rather than ‘savings focussed’.

The free challenges are a great way for us to get people in the door……….

But if someone is just after a freebie or the cheapest option they can find………

If someone would genuinely rather have 50p to maybe £1 more to spend on Starbucks, Pret, take out, etc than they would like to have a body they like, to feel better and live longer……….

Then that’s cool……….

It’s their life.

We definitely wouldn’t be a good fit for each other though.

They’d hate working with us and we wouldn’t enjoy working with them.

For those that are ready to take this whole being happy and having a life they like business seriously………

Our find out more meeting is tonight – myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting.

Much love,

P.S. That link again. Unless you are genuinely busy with something you can’t possibly get out of tonight (or, of course, you’re already with us), if you don’t do it now, what will change so you finally do make the changes you know you need to? myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting.
