We’ve mentioned before about the great success rate on our 20lbs challenge.

In an industry where about 5-10% of people get success……..

We usually get about 80-95%.

Those that don’t hit the 20lbs are, understandably, disappointed.

Most know exactly what’s happened.

Made certain choices along the way this derailed them.

Got drunk and ate crap a bit too much basically.

We’re all for getting drunk from time to time and the odd bit of crap…….

But there’s a limit to how much you can do and still expect to lose 20lbs in 8 weeks.

Some seem a little surprised by not getting there.

“I ate well most of the time. Maybe two or three times a week I wasn’t so good”

Which is a bit like saying “I ate mostly well, but I took 24 fat pills as well”.

Because certain ways of eating and drinking are like ‘fat pills’.

It’s not just about the number of calories in them (although that, of course, is hugely important)………

But what those things do to your body (check myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting if you like the sound of an approach that isn’t just ‘eat less, move more’).

The affect it has on your body’s ability and willingness to store or release fat……..

The impact on other, later, food and drink choices.

Eating and drinking a load of crap can be like ‘flicking a fat switch’.

You can, of course, eat as many fat pills as you like.

Your life, your body.

But seeing them as such is great for helping people gain clarity over their choices.
Much love,
Jon ‘Purple Pills’ Hall and Matt ‘Fight Music’ Nicholson

P.S. Fairly tricky middle names – 2 bonus ninja points 🙂

P.P.S. Yesterday’s middle names were about ‘Trigger’s Broom’ from Only Fools And Horses.
