Over the last few days I’ve covered a few considerations that we could have for things that might benefit our mood and mental health.

Again, I know perfectly well this isn’t the entirety of it.

But, again, over 20 years of being in this industry and over 40 years of being a human has taught me that many of these things will help many of us.

And it’s not uncommon when I speak to people about their mood and mental health that it becomes apparent……..

That they’re bored.

I ask what they’ve got on at the moment that they’re enthused about……..

What they’re doing that ‘lights them up’……

Or what they’re particularly looking forward to……..

Or what hobbies and pastimes they derive pleasure from……..

And usually there’s not much of an answer.

Now I get that this can be a bit of a chicken and egg situation.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t start to implement more things in our life that energize us.

Things that make us feel that we’ve got a purpose.

That what we do is important.

That we matter to other people.

And it doesn’t mean that we can’t start to put more time and focus on our more interactive interests and hobbies – not just vegging in front of the TV.

As I covered last week, I know this is all easier said than done.

Everything is.

Doesn’t mean we wouldn’t feel better for doing it though (and you’ll definitely feel better if you try out our four week transformation programme at www.myrise.co.uk/apply. I literally guarantee it).

Much love,

Jon ‘Bore Off’ Hall
