I was having a chat with one of our ninjas Paul, the other day.

Paul of this brilliant podcast interview if you’d like to hear how he’s been overcoming his challenges with depression, homelessness and other difficulties.
He very kindly said that he thought we were the best coaches out there.
And that we know as much as anyone that works with any top athletes.
Lovely as it was to hear, I had to point out it wasn’t true.
We don’t know as much as the very top guys.
Nowhere near.
We’re working on it, of course.
And, we’d like to think we know more than 90% of our industry.
But our main strength has never been the amount we know.
It’s always been in our ability to take action.
And to help others to take action.
We don’t have a successful business in an industry where most struggle because we know more.
It’s because we execute.
Day in, day out.
Doing what needs to be done.
While others don’t.
In the same way our members don’t get great results because of some advanced secret stuff we’ve taught them.
It’s because they do what they know they need to do.
Day in, day out.
You see most people already know enough to get them a good 80% of the way from where they are to where they’d like to be.
They might not know how to get a a great six pack or top level physical performance.
But, dropping a stone or two?
You all know at least one way to do that, I’m sure.
Be quite an insult to your intelligence to say otherwise.
Any FitPros that try and sell you what they do purely on the info it contains are to be kept away from, if you ask us.
So, the obvious question, is how do we, and they, execute.
It’s getting clarity on what you really want.
Removing all the confusing nonsense that often comes with it.
Challenging the self limiting beliefs, habits and thought processes that stop us doing it.
We weren’t born this way and neither were our members.
We’ve trained (and are continuing to train) ourselves to be this way.
And it’s still a work in progress.
Same with the members.
We create and maintain an environment that is conducive to change (myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting if you like the sound of that).
And regularly create ‘content’ (like this blog you’re reading, videos, podcasts, seminars, etc, etc) that, slowly but surely, enables those changes to take place.
Until, one day, people look back…….
And realise how easy they find it now.
General George Patton once said “A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.”
Action is key.
Get going.
Take action.
Daily.
And perfect the plan as you go.
By reading / watching / listening to the stuff we put out 😉

Much love,
