I saw a phrase the other day that really jumped out at me:

“You don’t rise to the level of your goals”

“You fall to the level of your systems”

Which I kind of think sums up a lot of the things that I talk about.

Things like planning and structure.

Creating order where there was previously disorder.

We like to think that this time will be different.

Telling ourselves “I know what I need to do, I just need to do it”.

If we’re approaching it in the same way as before…….

With the same level of structure, planning and systems………..

Then I’d be willing to wager that it would go the same way as it did before.

Good to start with………

Go backwards longer term.

Einstein supposedly said ““The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results” (he probably didn’t, but that doesn’t’ stop it being a good quote).

So, if we’re not going to RISE to the level of our goals…………

If we are going to fall to the level of our systems……….
