December isn’t the best time of year to get in the best possible shape.

We get that.

We’re not daft.

Not in that way anyway.

Christmas do’s, parties, socials events and so on.

They’ll be more food and drink on a number of days this month for many of us (ourselves including).

However……………

Those things only happen on a certain number of the 93 meals we’ll have in December, surely?

Maybe a quarter of them?

So, when 25% of something won’t be great…………

We can then use that as a justification to make the other 75% worse than normal too…………

Or we can make that 75% a little better to redress the balance.

Sure, some meals will be rather calorie dense.

And we’ll miss some workouts.

But we can average that out over the rest of the time.

Or, at least, create an average that isn’t even worse than it has to be.

Often, the reasons not to do something are actually the reasons to do it.

When we’ve eaten loads, it’s the best time to eat a little less.

When we feel too busy to meditate, it’s probably the most beneficial time to meditate.

When we miss workouts, it’s the best time to do some other ones.

When we don’t feel like exercising how we feel will be most improved by exercising.

The worst time is often actually the best time.

Let’s not completely forget that in December?
