So we’re nearly into the New Year.

The time of year where, amongst other things, we hear from every gym we’ve ever been a member of.

Which I get.

The conventional gym model is built on ramming people in every January with the expectation that most won’t come for all that long.

I always find it interesting to see a lot of conventional gyms marketing messages and social media adverts.

Because I often find them to be somewhat off putting for the average person.

I’ve seen variations on this blog title in several places recently.

“Are you ready to make this your fittest year ever?”

“Make 2024 your fittest year yet”

And it sounds nice in theory.

But I’m not sure many people actually want that.

I definitely don’t.

In my mid to late 20s I was a semi-professional athlete.

Looking back now, I was incredibly fit.

But I put the effort in to make that happen.

I genuinely don’t know if I could get that fit (or fitter) again.

I don’t know if my injury ravaged (and 15 to 20 years older) body is capable of it.

And if it was, I’m definitely not willing to put that amount of work in.

I’ve had four kids since then.

A busy business.

I could definitely be somewhere in-between where I am now and where I was then.

But making 2024 my fittest year ever is definitely off the cards.

As I’m sure it is for most of us.

But that doesn’t mean we couldn’t all make some relatively easy adjustments in 2024 to considerably increase our fitness and energy levels.

And, from my experience, that’s what most people want.

Some relatively easy changes that produce some disproportionate results.

It’s your ‘big wins’.

High return on investment adjustments.

Not absolutely everything we could possibly do to get the best results.

But good enough results by changes that fit into our busy lifestyles.

So, if you want 2024 to be a fitter, more energised, and generally happier year, then that’s where we come in.

Already with us then let’s get booked in now for your first January Session(s).

Not already with us, then don’t just end up doing the same old, same old come January (because it’ll lead to the same old, same old results). Join our waiting list for January at

Much love,
