Out of all the things people ever tell us they wished they had more of, there are two that come up by far the most often.

Motivation.

And energy.

Sure, more time, money and other things would always be good.

But, from a health and fitness perspective particularly, more energy and motivation are often massive helps.

It’s tempting to think “I don’t have enough energy”.

Or “I wish I had more motivation.”

But, the interesting thing………..

Is neither of those things………..

Are things that we can ‘have’.

The main way we store energy is in body fat.

And very few people want more of that.

As far as I know, there’s no method of storing motivation.

We can’t ‘have’ these things.

We are not batteries.

We are power plants.

We create motivation.

We create energy.

They come from within.

We can’t be given them.

We can’t create them then expect that that is it – we’ll store it and keep it for later, never to run out.

We need to generate both.

Constantly.

And realising that is empowering.

When what we put in our month becomes less about what we’ll look like in six months………..

And more about how we’ll feel tomorrow……….

Those decisions become easier.

What we out into our body affects what it produces.

In energy, motivation and more.

The obvious fuel, of course – our food and drink.

But also what we watch and listen to.

How we chose to spend our time and focus.

What we allow our thoughts to centre on more.

These can all help or hinder the energy and motivation we generate (and are all stuff we help our members with –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).

Much love,

Jon ‘Goldberg’ Hall and Matt ‘The Giant’ Nicholson

P.S. I am aware that Power Plants covert energy from one form to another, but work with me here, yeah?

P.P.S. Very hard middle names there – 5 bonus points for the connection
