So, today I’m going to tell you about when Geoff Capes slapped me.

It’s not relevant to anything, just thought you might be interested.

First though – we’re launching a podcast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve already got the jingles done – they sound wicked 🙂

Now –  we love podcasts

They’re a great way to discover out lots of useful stuff without having to take time out of your day.

We get loads of great ideas from the podcasts we listen to on things like exercise, nutrition, business and so on.

So we’d like to do one for you lovely folk.

To help you even more transform your lives and bodies.

And even more easily.

You’ll be able to listen to these bad boys while you’re driving, working out, walking, etc.

Please help us out by letting us know what you’d like us to cover by filling in the form at myrise.co.uk/podcast

It was a toss up.

So to speak.

I’ve decided to go for the Geoff Capes story and save the Gladiators one for another time.

Speaking of Double-Entendres – are there any veggies out there?

Lisa from Macc emailed me back about the ‘Supermarket Tour’ saying: “Any other vegetarians you think would want to group up with me? Don’t fancy paying for you to show me meat (not your meat the meat in the shops 😉 tee hee hee)

Hit me up if you’re a veggie who wants to eat better.

Back to big Geoff.

I think I was 7.

Pretty young anyway.

Too young to be physically assaulted by the World’s Strongest Man, that’s for sure.

I’d cued up with my sister to get his autograph at the Ashbourne ‘Highland Games’ event.

I was so star struck that I just stared at him when he handed me the programme back.

“What do you say?” came his booming voice.

I didn’t know what he meant so just stared at him.

So he cracked me round the head and repeated his question.

Still didn’t know what he meant and I was really quite scared now.

So he hit me again.

In case I haven’t made the point – he was the World’s Strongest Man.

Literally.

And I was a 7 year old boy.

Literally.

That was a bit of a diversion – tomorrow I’m going to go back to some of the stuff I learned this last weekend.

In particularly one thing I learned about how to cut through all the confusing and often conflicting information I find about how to run a successful fitness business.

And how you can use the same concept to cut through all the confusing, conflicting information you hear about eating and exercising on a daily basis.

Much love,

Jon ‘Proper excited about this podcat’ Hall
